F@MU 2022: come with your children to the Museum!

Different are the ways, the realities and the languages but the desires and needs are the same. To play, to be together, to dialogue, to feel part of a community by learning from others and offering something of ourselves in return: these are deep needs of every human being, but how can they be addressed in daily life?

This is the question that inspired the activities of the National F@MU 2022 Day proposed by the Reale Mutua Historical Museum on Sunday 9 October and realised in collaboration with some realities that every day live what we usually call "diversity": Sudanese Association of Turin, UGI - Unione Genitori Italiani Contro Il Tumore Dei Bambini, A.S.D. Polisportiva UICI Turin, UICI Turin - Unione Italiana dei Ciechi e degli Ipovedenti.

Below is the PROGRAMME of the day:

• 10:00 - 18:00
guided tours for all at the Reale Mutua Historical Museum

• 10:00 - 13:00
tell your opinion about "different but equal" on Radio UGI, talk to the speakers, listen to the experiences of others and have your say

• 15:00 - 17:00
listen to the sounds of the Sudanese Arabic language and ask for a henna tattoo from the elegant women of the Sudanese Association in Turin

• 15:00 - 17:00
play with A.S.D. Polisportiva UICI - Turin, wear the blindfold and listen to the sound ball.

• 15:00 - 17:00
Do we know Braille? What about speech synthesis? Do you know that you use it too? (organised by Unione Italiana dei Ciechi e degli Ipovedenti UICI - Turin)

Throughout the day, animators from the Kiwi animation agency will welcome families to the Reale Mutua Historical Museum, coordinate activities and offer children two special entertainments: the "Kim game" and the "paralympic slalom".

Activities, entertainment and guided tours of the museum will be free for all.
