GEPs 2021 are inclusive

Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 September 2021 will see the return of the European Heritage Days (GEPs), Europe's largest and most participatory cultural event aimed at raising awareness of the value of our heritage and the need to preserve it for present and future generations.   For the 2021 edition, the theme proposed by the Council of Europe is "Patrimonio culturale: TUTTI inclusi!" (Cultural Heritage: ALL INCLUDED!): an enhancement of the culture of inclusion and culture as a means of inclusion, beyond all diversity.   The Reale Mutua Historical Museum is taking part in the initiative through InclusiVisita, a series of free guided tours from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., to discover the intertwining of corporate history and the history of Italy.   Inclusion will be the leitmotif: a tactile route recently approved by the Unione Italiana Ciechi e Ipovedenti Torino (Italian Union of the Blind and Visually Impaired in Turin) will complement the classic itinerary, which for the occasion will explore the issues of accessibility and inclusiveness in all their forms, involving each visitor in the debate.   At the end of the route, information material and other small surprises will await the visitor at the exit.   We look forward to seeing you Saturday and Sunday in via Garibaldi 22!
