The Reale Mutua Historical Museum opens its doors to inclusion
Inclusion is lived, not described.
On Thursday 20 May, Palazzo Biandrate Aldobrandino di San Giorgio hosted the Unione Italiana Ciechi e Ipovedenti (UICI) and the Museo dell'Automobile di Torino (MAUTO), experimenting with a new inclusive visit experience.
After a training course abruptly interrupted by the pandemic, the Museum guides were able to put into practice for the first time the notions learned, guiding the UICI representatives and Ilaria Pani, MAUTO's contact person, through the rooms of the Reale Mutua Historical Museum, immersing themselves in new and stimulating visiting methods and receiving a technical evaluation by the UICI.
A synergic experience between places of culture wishing to promote it and be spokesmen for inclusion: this is how the first inclusive visit to the Museo Storico Reale Mutua can be described.
